Diod v0.1.0.16 — A clear road forward Pre-alpha | 22 October 2026 Changes since v0.1.0.15 - A persistent side panel shows the next main Roadmap objective, its position in the route, goal counters and a practical next action. Optional tracked objectives remain visible separately without replacing the main direction. - Guidance responds to real possessions and work: crafted bags ask to be equipped, baskets and campfire kits ask to be placed, unfinished plans ask for deliveries and hammer work, and awakened survivors lead into shared storage. - Roadmap now opens as a readable numbered main route. Select a milestone for its steps, exact Craft recipe and clickable optional branches. Completed milestones link to the next main direction. The zoomable branch tree remains available through Branch tree. - Removed the duplicate rectangular interaction card from the center of the screen. Object names and E cues stay on the objects; carrying failures show Bag full there and on the reticle. Focused objects take priority when labels overlap. - Level and XP remain at the top center. Menus hide the objective panel and gameplay overlays; returning restores current state. Non-object contexts such as cutting a standing tree use a plain text hint. Follow the gold current objective in the side panel. P opens the numbered route; select any milestone for instructions and optional branches. Tracking an optional branch never removes the main objective from the HUD. Interact using the floating name/E cue on the object. The former center interaction rectangle has been removed. Validation linux: Focused actual-export progression, HUD/interaction experience and navigation checks passed, including live objective advancement, optional tracking, one-time XP, save rollback, equipment-specific hints, on-object carrying warnings, physical interaction reach and paused-menu visibility. Small UI-only software-rendered Roadmap and objective-tracker previews reviewed at 1280 by 800. No full-world GPU playtest. Actual exported content/Earth/legacy-save path identity passed. No full-world GPU playtest. windows: Sequential export, native icon groups/sizes and four-part version checked. Native Windows GPU playtest pending. macos: Universal bundle identity/version and x86_64/arm64 verified. Fresh Developer ID signed, Apple notarized and stapled. Native Mac GPU playtest and fresh Gatekeeper assessment pending owner/local testing. Known issues - Native Mac/Windows GPU playtesting, readability against actual landscapes and fresh Mac Gatekeeper assessment remain for owner/local testing. - Objective guidance describes the next milestone and existing recipes; it does not automatically find materials, plot a route, or create new content beyond the current main path. - The HUD shows carried-kit and construction guidance plus milestone counters. It does not yet track every prerequisite recipe as a separate live subquest. - Long descriptions and the eight-stage main route can be scrolled. The branch tree retains pan and zoom controls.
