Diod v0.1.0.32 — Autonomous workers and controller support - Assign a worker a building, crafting or terrain outcome, or collect a quantity into a chosen container. The settlement screen now uses Work and Collect instead of leaders and designated shared storage. - Workers resolve local prerequisites: gather real supplies, craft tools and carrying bags, deliver materials, finish construction, and fuel and operate timed production. They eat, drink and rest before resuming their task. - Workers can complete precise cut and fill worksites using the normal shovel/pickaxe rules and paid soil. Existing project geometry, supplies, spoil and progress remain saved. - DualSense controls cover movement, tools, quick slots, menus, building and terrain design. Touchpad opens actions; the virtual pointer supports selection and dragging, with D-pad focus navigation and controller settings. - Existing saves receive a full before-autonomous-workers backup before format 11. Previous construction/crafting assignments migrate; historical groups are retained for recovery. UPDATING Continue your existing game; no New Game required. Close Diod before replacing the app or extracted folder. Save format 11 retains progress and makes a full before-autonomous-workers backup. Do not downgrade an upgraded save. CONTROLS Pause → Settlement: choose a worker, Work/Collect, target and Assign task. Place building or terrain plans first. Controller: Touchpad/Create actions, Options pause, left stick movement/pointer, right stick look/scroll, Cross jump/select, Square interact, R2 tool. In terrain design hold Square to orbit or Triangle to pan; L1/R1 zoom, L2 precise pointer. LIMITS Worker planning is local to loaded terrain within 90 m of the assignment. Missing resources, blocked paths and full destination storage still require changes in the world. Hunting, distant exploration, automatic mine design and farming expansion are not automated. Controller input was tested with simulated events in the native Mac game. Physical DualSense Bluetooth pairing, stick feel and Windows/Linux hardware mappings still need playtesting. Adaptive triggers are not implemented. Native graphics testing uses Apple M4. No Intel Mac or Windows/Linux GPU/performance claim. Windows publisher signing is not configured; Smart App Control may block the download.
