Diod v0.1.0.34 — Distant workers and planned camp equipment Workers keep working at distant camps while the game is running. They walk, gather finite supplies, craft prerequisites, deliver and build, eat, drink and rest using the same physical rules. Assigning a project sends them to its work area. Nearby workers share small streamed areas; decisions and path requests are staggered, unnecessary resource scans avoided, and distant character animation skipped. Craft offers Build myself or a named worker before placing a construction preview. Rotate and position a chest, shelter or camp-equipment plan, confirm it, then supply and work on it yourself or let the assigned worker gather and build. Inventory baskets, bedrolls and fire kits use the same preview. Confirmation reserves exactly one prepared item, cancellation returns that same item, and hand setup completes it. Raw camp plans consume their real recipe ingredients. Portable crafting remains available. Bedding can be packed again; campfires need fuel and ignition. Continue your existing game: save format 12 preserves progress and geography and creates a complete before-distant-worksites backup before upgrading formats 6–11. Do not downgrade an upgraded run. Close Diod before replacing the application; saves are outside the installation. Validation: isolated finite-resource worker, construction, placement/escrow and save tests; native Mac Craft and worker workflows. A twelve-worker active crafting fixture consumed finite food/materials at a distant camp; steady-state 95th-percentile frame time was about 34 ms on Apple M4 / Metal / Low with a 30 FPS cap. This is a limited workload, not a universal performance guarantee. Full exact-package results are recorded in validation.json. Limits: workers gather within 90 m of the assigned work area and need a physically reachable route, supplies, food and freshwater. They do not explore the whole island for missing resources. No work while paused or the game is closed. Newly streamed work areas may briefly wait for collision/resources. No physical controller, Intel Mac, Windows/Linux GPU or testing-laptop benchmark. Windows publisher signing is not configured. Known Metal LOD-bias warning remains.
