Diod v0.1.0.36 — Settlers keep working Settlers often stood still with a task like "Collecting dry grass", or reported an obstructed route with nothing in their way. Their reach check required a clear straight line at chest height to a point in front of the item, so a bush, a tree trunk or a rise in the ground near the item blocked them. They now use the same rule as the player: within arm's reach from the hand to the item itself, and only something actually between the settler and the target blocks it. A settler that makes no progress toward a target for six seconds now drops it for a while and takes the next option, instead of waiting indefinitely. Route finding always keeps the settler's own starting point, even on a slope or in shallow water, and for distant sites it heads for the reachable point closest to the site when its intermediate waypoint lands on unusable ground. On a copy of an existing settlement, a settler who previously never moved now walked about 70 m to her lean-to site, delivered her materials and finished it. Continue your existing save.
