Diod v0.1.0.37 — Earth loading screen and controller overhaul Diod now opens straight into the game. The Play/Quit start menu is removed; instead a full-screen view of the Earth (NASA Goddard, Blue Marble) is shown while the world and your save load. The PS5 DualSense controls were reworked. On foot: left stick moves (L3 sprint), right stick looks (R3 crouch), Cross jumps, Square interacts, Triangle opens the bag, Circle drinks or cancels, R2 uses the held tool, L2 walks slowly, L1/R1 change quick slot, the D-pad opens craft, roadmap, settlement and terrain, the touchpad opens the map, Create opens the actions menu and Options pauses. Every prompt switches to PlayStation buttons as soon as you touch the controller and back when you use the keyboard or mouse. Menus (pause, bag, craft, books, stations, actions) use console-style navigation: something is always selected, the D-pad or left stick moves, Cross confirms, Circle goes back and L1/R1 switch tabs. Maps and the terrain designer use a stick-driven pointer. A bar along the bottom edge shows the buttons for the current screen. Full mapping: docs/CONTROLLER.md. Also includes v0.1.0.36's settler fixes. Continue your existing save. Save format remains 12. Close Diod before replacing the app. Your saves live outside the application. Limits: controller support was tested with simulated controller input; real DualSense feel over Bluetooth still needs a playtest. No adaptive triggers. Windows publisher signing is not configured. Full final-package test results are recorded in validation.json.
