Diod v0.1.0.39 — Place and shape with precision Building placement opens a focused overhead view. Click to lock the position, rotate with visible buttons or an exact angle, optionally snap to a grid, then place the plan. Q/R rotate 15 degrees; hold Shift for 1 degree. The same controls apply to carried placeable items. Unsupported ground and occupied footprints remain protected. Terrain design now supports drag-drawn rectangles, straight paths and circular areas, plus custom outlines. Choose Flatten, Raise, Lower or Slope, adjust with the height handle or 25cm buttons, and inspect the solid finished-ground preview. Precise measurements are tucked away. Undo and Redo are available before creating the worksite. Supply materials and work normally to build that exact surface. Planning views replace tree canopies with temporary obstacle markers and improve illumination. Trees, collision and the world remain unchanged when closing the editor. Continue existing saves. Save format remains 12; old buildings, terrain and mining edits are retained. Close the game before replacing the application. Limits: circular areas use 12-segment outlines; arbitrary overlapping brush strokes, free-floating building support and deeper mining are not included. Existing precision-site overlap and safety limits remain. Physical DualSense/Bluetooth and Windows/Linux GPU gameplay are not newly verified. Known issue found during testing: quitting while a mine mesh is actively generating can stall shutdown. Let nearby terrain finish loading before closing; the placement/terrain save checks passed. A separate shutdown fix is still needed.
